If you have been putting off going to the dentist because of fear, anxiety, a dental phobia, or teeth sensitivity, then you’ve come to the right place. Dr. Fields offers patients, who experience anxiety about their dental treatment, a pill, that is taken in our office an hour before their dental appointment. The only other catch is they need a ride home after the procedure so they will be safe and not drive until the medication wears off.

Oral sedation puts patients at ease and they will experience no anxiety about treatment. They will than be given a local anesthetic which they will not notice and their dental procedure, most likely, can be done in one or two visits.

Oral sedation is to prevent anxiety so you can have a good experience at the dental office and leave realizing that you will never have to fear dental work again. Oral sedation can be used for any kind of procedure that you are fearful of whether it be gagging when xrays are taken to cleanings or endodontal and periodontal work.
